Beaver Local Fieldhouse
Owner: Beaver Local School District
Role: General Contractor
Project Value: $6.7M
The Beaver Local Fieldhouse is a ground-up athletic facility delivered for Beaver Local Schools to support year-round training, team operations, and game-day logistics. Built adjacent to the stadium complex, the fieldhouse brings all core functions under one roof: home and visitor locker rooms, a fully equipped weight and conditioning area, athletic training room, coaches’ offices, team meeting/film space, laundry, and expansive equipment storage. Public restrooms and a flexible entry zone improve circulation for events and camps.
Brock coordinated site utilities, concrete, the pre-engineered metal building, and a durable exterior envelope with masonry accents and metal panels. Inside, low-maintenance finishes—rubber athletic flooring, stained polished concrete, ceramic tile, and acoustical treatments—were selected to handle heavy use while keeping spaces bright and clean. Energy-efficient HVAC, LED lighting, and modern controls reduce operating costs, and integrated data, access control, and life-safety systems enhance security and reliability.
The project was executed on an active K-12 campus with careful phasing to maintain safety and avoid disruptions to athletics. Close collaboration with the district and vendors resulted in a tough, functional, and welcoming hub that elevates the student-athlete experience and serves the community for years to come.
